Heirman Wildlife Preserve at Thomas' Eddy
Highlights: wide gravel main trail, grassy footpaths, massive big leaf Maple trees, Cedar Lighting Tree, meadow grasses, wetlands, Shadow Lake, Snohomish River
Ferguson and Hill Park on Blackman’s Lake
Highlights: two in-town location, level walking trail, unusual tree formations, “partner” trees and pairings, stone boulders, mature Douglas Fir trees, Blackman's Lake

Highlights: deep forest experience, unusual tree formations, lakeside vignettes, mown grass, level walking trail, Lake Roesiger
A Secret Spot on the Pilchuck River near Locshloy
Highlights: river stones and boulders, Alder trees, seasonal berries, shallow waters, sandy places, short path makes it easy to pack-in gear, Pilchuck River (No restroom, no website, no directions, it’s a well known secret!)
